The Skorpian Chimera by CYBERDYNE101 The Skorpian Chimera by CYBERDYNE101
To prepare for God of War: Ascension, I've decided to change up the form of my Skorpian Collossus to imitate one of the bosses in the game: the mutated arm monsters formed when Megaera's parasites infest the arms of Aegaeon the Hecatonchires. I also wanted to use aspects from Cerberus of Dante's Inferno, where it oftentimes lies on the ground. In doing so, I've decided to all it the Skorpian Chimera, a combination of the basic Skorpian species that features the aspects of the Drones, Flyers, and Divers. Only Colossi are capable of "molting" into Chimera, but must change back when finished with its needs. The two biggest problems I've had with this form are the two extra limbs to keep it balance, especially with its heavy upper half. But either way, I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome.

The Chimera is a combination of 3-4 DIFFERENT animals. It may look good but the name "chimera" doesnt seem to fit him nicely.

The purpose for "Chimera" is to signify the fourth and final stage of metamorphosis for few Skorpians: only the Colossi are capable of taking on this bestial form and being able to revert back.

Yeah, that's the part that pissed me off: it's a stand, to hold up its body. Without it, the upper half collapses. And nothing slimmer is strong enough.
